Motion Blur of Dynamic Simulations
These are motion-blurred composites I made for Brian Miritch's research.
They appeared on the cover of the 1995 UC Berkeley College of
Engineering Research Summary. Two rendering passes were done for each
set of images, one with diffuse reflection and one with specular
reflection. The series of images were then composited with floating
point arithmetic, with the specular images scaled to ten times their
original brightness values to create the impression of high-dynamic
range imagery. Here's the source code.
